- The following are some special considerations to be aware of in
- this conversion:
-
- The Running head code and the Tab definitions are in the
- Paragraph attributes in the internal file format. These
- attributes are under the "Document" menu in Write for Windows.
-
- Write for Windows places the extra space between lines before the
- paragraph where the line spacing attribute is set. WordPerfect
- puts this space after the paragraph. Because of this the White
- space before or After a paragraph may not be equivalent and will
- need to be edited by user to achieve the same results.
-
- Write for Windows 3.1 stores all figures as a type of OLE object.
- These objects do not have the graphic image associated with them.
- Because of this WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows doesn't display the
- objects correctly. WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows will keep the box
- in the document, but it will throw away the OLE.
-
- Write for Windows needs not have any white space before the tab
- set to have a tab align at the tab set. WP requires some white
- space before a tab set for its tabs. If there is not enough
- white space before the tab set WP will align at the next tab set.
- This could cause tabs to align improperly.
